Updated November 2026
NRIWallah members can review the partners we link to, so other NRIs can see how a service worked for people like them. This page explains who can write a review, what we check, what we never do and how to report a review. The reviews appear on each partner’s page, listed on our partners.
Any NRIWallah member who used a partner can review it from their account, whether they found the partner through NRIWallah or not, and however long ago they used it. You need an account so that each person reviews a partner once. You can edit your review or withdraw it at any time.
Each review says how the writer came to the partner:
Each review also says when the writer used the partner: this year, one to three years ago, or more than three years ago. Services change, so an older review may not match what the partner does today.
People who work for a partner cannot review it. People who work for NRIWallah can review a partner they used themselves, but their review carries the line “Written by someone who works for NRIWallah”, because NRIWallah earns money from its partners and you should know that when you read it.
Partners cannot ask for reviews through us, choose which customers are asked, or offer anything in return for a review.
Every review is checked before it is published, usually within a week. We use an automated check, which includes Claude, an AI system, and a person makes the final decision. Your email address is never part of that check. We do not publish a review, or we ask you to change it, if it:
We do not correct spelling or change your meaning. If we cannot publish a review, your account says so, and you can edit it and send it again.
Your review is published with your first name and the country you live in, and with your answers. Nothing else about you is shown.
Each partner page shows how many reviews there are. Once a partner has three or more, it also shows the average and the share of reviewers who said the service cost what they were told. With fewer than three, a single review could look like a rating, so we show the reviews without an average.
A partner may reply to a review once, by writing to us. The reply is shown under the review with its date. A reply cannot change or remove the review.
If you think a review breaks this policy, or that it is unlawful or untrue about you or your business, use “Report this review” under it, or contact us with the review’s reference. Tell us what is wrong and why. We look at every report, may take the review down while we check it, and tell you and, where we can, the writer what we decided.
A review stays up until its writer withdraws it or deletes their account, or until we take it down under this policy. When a review is withdrawn or an account is deleted, the review usually comes off the site within a week. Our privacy notice explains what we keep and for how long.
If you have a question about this policy, please contact us. We review this policy from time to time and show the date it last changed at the top of the page.
