As an NRI, this is your elected representative in Parliament. Reach out to their office for grievances, consular issues, overseas voting rights and any constituency-level concerns.
PIN codes can span more than one Lok Sabha constituency, and the published boundaries are mapped at post-office resolution. The result above is correct for the vast majority of PINs but may be off in rare border cases — verify on sansad.in if you suspect a mismatch.

India’s Parliament represents all Indian citizens — including those living abroad. Your Lok Sabha MP is the elected representative for your home constituency, and they remain your point of contact for a range of issues even while you are overseas. Whether you hold an Indian passport or an OCI card, knowing who your MP is and how to reach them can make a real difference when you run into bureaucratic roadblocks.
India is divided into 543 Lok Sabha constituencies, each represented by one elected Member of Parliament. Your constituency is determined by your registered address in India — typically the address on your voter ID or the family home where you are registered. Even if you have lived abroad for years, your constituency link remains as long as your registration is active.
Since 2011, NRIs holding Indian passports have been eligible to register as overseas electors in their home constituency. The Representation of the People (Amendment) Act enabled this, and subsequent developments have made it easier to participate. Your MP is expected to represent your interests regardless of whether you voted from abroad or not.
Your Lok Sabha representative can intervene or raise questions on your behalf in several situations that commonly affect NRIs.
Enter your 6-digit Indian PIN code above to instantly find your current Lok Sabha MP, their party affiliation, and contact details. If you are unsure of your PIN code, use the PIN code associated with your family home or last registered Indian address.
If you are planning to register as an overseas voter, our Document Checklist covers the paperwork you will need. Every rate and threshold here is sourced, dated and shown on the page — but tax rules change, and we would rather be told than be wrong. Reports go to the team that maintains the tool. If you can point at the official source, that gets it fixed fastest.
